The Therapeutic Boarding School and Residential Program is Next

After a time, when teens display responsible decisions and take ownership of their development, they transition to the residential program and live in a home on campus. This phase prepares them to transition into society as privileges and personal freedoms are restored.

An Accredited Therapeutic Boarding School with Certified Teachers and Counselors

During both phases of the program, teens attend our on-campus, fully accredited junior and senior high school, staffed with Georgia certified teachers. We desire students to get caught up and to also prepare for college, so we also include test prep for the SAT and ACT as part of our daily curriculum.

SHA is structured to equip troubled teens with the skills needed to become more confident, productive and respectful at home, school, and in the community. We provide a state accredited junior and senior high school on campus. Our unique combination of a wilderness program, certified equine program, and first-class therapeutic boarding school is all designed to bring focus back into a child’s life. We also utilize accountability groups, individual behavioral and family sessions for the adolescent.
