Getting Started: Our Admissions Process
We want to make the admissions process as simple as possible. To ensure your teen is getting the help he or she needs quickly, we offer year-round rolling admission for children ages 12 to 17. We work specifically with teens who have gotten off track in life, mainly due to specific diagnostic disorders, external influences, or trauma.
Here is a step-by-step guide to our admissions process:
Step 1: Fill Out Inquiry Form
To get started, please either fill out our online inquiry form or call our office directly at (706) 703-4188 to complete the form over the phone with one of our dedicated Admissions Team members. We will gather information about your current situation, your teen, and document your preferred contact method. After you submit the inquiry form, we will follow up to set up an introductory meeting.
Step 2: Introductory Meeting
During our introductory meeting, we go deeper into your situation. Our goal during this phone meeting is to assess whether or not Shepherd’s Hill Academy is a good fit for your family.
Step 3: Submit Necessary Documents
Should you decide Shepherd’s Hill Academy is right for your teen, your Admissions Team member will send you an invitation with instructions how to complete and submit an application form, along with other necessary documents. Our team will make a final determination in regard to whether Shepherd’s Hill Academy is a good choice for your child and will notify you accordingly. We do not charge for Shepherd’s Hill applications.
Step 4: Enrollment
After your teen is accepted into Shepherd’s Hill Academy, we can begin the enrollment process. We will gather important information that we must have on file for legal and licensing purposes. Our team is sensitive that this can be a challenging and emotional time for you and your family, so we do our best to support and guide you through the process.
If you have additional questions regarding the admissions process for Shepherd’s Hill Academy, please do not hesitate to reach out. We are here to help, to guide, and to be a resource for you and your family. You may reach our Admissions Team at (706) 703-4188.
