The number of kids on medication today for behavioral issues is scandalous.
As I see it, it’s an insult to the intelligence of the average American parent.
It can be justly argued that the mental health field—largely devoted to relieving human suffering—can often fuel more suffering than it relieves.
Too many mental health professionals have marginalized, or discounted altogether, the very root of human suffering—which is SIN!
Sure there’s a place for medications. When meds are dispensed to our kids carte blanche, in lieu of discipline, we aren’t loving our kids—we’re harming them.
Like medications, godly discipline changes more than behavior. It changes brain chemistry too!
