Today’s culture may seem like a daunting challenge for some parents. We seek to be a solution to the struggles you face.
This post provides you with access to six resources we provide to strengthen your family in today’s wavering culture.
Challenges Christians Face
Today, we can’t really talk about parenting without talking about our culture.
This is because parents, whether they are aware of it or not are competing with the culture.
Parental influence, because of our pervasive and invasive culture, has been undermined.
Consider these cultural influences vying for the hearts, minds, worldview, and even the loyalty of our kids:
- Entertainment industry
- Public school system
- Doctors and Psychologists
So, how can you navigate the difficulties presented by today’s culture?
Since 2001, our ministry has grown. We now offer six main resources that strengthen your family.
1) Insight for Today’s Culture

4) The License to Parent Store
We recently launched our store. The prices per item are not as competitive as what you’ll find on Amazon, but that is intentional. By purchasing through the License to Parent Store 100% of our profits go to the students at Shepherds Hill Academy
5) Shepherds Hill Academy
This is where we began. In 2001 we opened our residential program for troubled teens known as Shepherds Hill Academy. Since then, we have served over 200 families from all across America. If you have a teen in crisis, you may want to consider our residential academy. To get an overview of SHA, see our Wikipedia page.
6) Shepherds Hill Family Coaching
Last year we launched our Family Coaching services. If residential care is not a fit for you, but your family is in crisis, perhaps our coaching service can benefit your needs. Please contact us to learn more.
