You’ve heard me say time and time again how the media is effecting our youth. But have you heard from other renown experts who think our children, and our society is saturated with too much media? There seems to be a consensus amongst many doctors, pastors, and youth workers nationwide on how the media is not only effecting our youth, but adults as well.
Last summer we had the pleasure of hosting the team from Media Talk 101 and ReelCast Productions while they filmed their documentary “Captivated.” They interviewed me and our students at Shepherds Hill Academy for the film. They shot footage of our campus and the boy’s wilderness site. The film is an eyeopener. Below you can read a synopsis of the film.
I also had the pleasure of interviewing the Director of Media Talk 101, Phillip Telfer. You can hear my interview with him on the License to Parent website, program titled “Captivated by Media Talk 101 with Phillip Telfer.” Also, at the License to Parent website there is a link where you can order your copy of the movie “Captivated.” We think you will be enlightened by what you discover, and it will be a blessing for your family.
