Is your child a delight to your soul? Does he bring you more peace than embarrassment and stress?
Many may answer that their teen brings them more stress than delight. In today’s post I provide for you a way to have peace with your teen.
Discipline the Answer to Peace
I regret to say that it’s becoming quite rare to see kids, of any age, that are well behaved and consistently well disciplined. It seems that the busyness and exhaustion of many parents today have brought them to a place of being too easily pleased.
The command to honor father and mother seems lost to busyness and political correctness.
I know parents still love their kids—despite life’s hectic pace. But many aren’t at peace with them as they ought to be.
Proverbs 29:17 says: “Discipline your son, and he will give you peace. He will bring delight to your soul.”
