Dunn is a city in Harnett County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 9,196 at the 2000 census.
It is the birthplace of early an rock and roll guitar player, Link Wray, and General William C. Lee, father of the American Army Airborne. The city’s slogan is “It’s all right here.” The name honors Bennett R. Dunn, who supervised the construction of the railway line between Wilson and Fayetteville.
