Director of Marketing
Mallory has a Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Consumer Sciences from the University of Georgia in Athens, GA. She also holds Certifications in Content Marketing, Google Analytics, and Graphic Design.
At her childhood church, Mallory was an active VBS leader, pre-school teacher, and middle school Camp Counselor. She also played the violin and cello in the orchestra. Her favorite memories were made in the woods at her church camp. She reflects upon that unplugged time in the wilderness to have strengthened her relationship with God and her community.
Mallory has an empathetic and understanding heart for parents raising troubled teens. Two of her siblings have completed residential therapy programs for addictions that began in their teenage years. She also understands that our youth are our future leaders and she is passionate about ensuring that their mental health and futures are secure.
She is an avid hiker and spends most weekends climbing summits in North Georgia. Hiking is a way for her to unplug from the daily grind and immerse herself in God’s beautiful creation. For this year in 2020, she is committed to a fundraising hike for Make A Wish GA, where they raise funds by doing a 20-mile hike in one day on the Bartram Trail!
Through a blended family of biological and adopted siblings, Mallory is blessed to be the oldest of seven children. She has an 11-year-old rescue mutt named Trucker, who is her best friend. She also works on her family’s farm in Greensboro, GA tending cattle and working in the garden.
Hansen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biblical Studies with a minor in Youth Ministries from Emmanuel College in Franklin, GA. He also received his teaching certification in Early Childhood/Middle Grades through a graduate-level certification program offered and the University of NC in Charlotte. He is certified to teach those grade levels in the states of GA and NC. He also holds a certification in K-12 special education.
Hansen has been working with youth since 2001. He has worked in churches leading Children’s Ministries, Middle and High School, and College Ministries. He has worked with youth in both public and private schools as a teacher and a coach.
Hansen’s passion: “In a culture that is leaning towards postmodernity, today’s teens are growing up in a world where the basic fundamentals of right and wrong and the validity of truth are up for individual relativistic interpretation. As a result, we are seeing a generation emerge with no moral compass and a severed conscience that is immune to sound reason and truth. They have been taught in school that all they are is materialistic matter and the result is that nothing matters.”
Jesus said, “I am the way the truth and the life.” Hansen wants to be a part of lovingly leading this generation back to the only One who can give them a sense of meaning and purpose and can ground them in truth because He is truth. Hansen also has five kids of his own and he realizes they are going to live in a world that is being led by our current youth generation and he wants them to be prepared as well to engage the culture with the grace and truth that is rooted in Christ, our ultimate reality.
He is happily married to his wife Cindy. Hansen has an older brother and Cindy is one of 14 siblings. Together they have five children, ages 10, 8, 6, 4, and 2. Their home is on nearly seven acres that they share with chickens, gardens, and a small farm pond full of fish. Hansen enjoys woodworking and anything outdoors; hunting, fishing, golfing, hiking, and camping.
