Preparation for Your Student’s Academic Future
In addition to rigorous courses coupled with individualized learning plans for each student, Shepherds Hill Academy offers a variety of options for furthering your child’s education.
Should your student require courses that are not currently offered at Shepherds Hill Academy, our academy is able to utilize Georgia Virtual School to provide elective classes for your child.
Elective courses such as Business and Shop classes are also held on campus in order to give students a well rounded and advanced education.
Students excelling academically who desire to pursue post-secondary institutions are given SAT/ACT preparation courses. Shepherds Hill Academy will also work with the student and staff to set up the child’s SAT or ACT testing, transporting them to the test location.
For exceptional students, dual enrollment may also be an added benefit of the academy at Shepherds Hill. SHA is currently working with Toccoa Falls College, a 4-year private post-secondary institution, to offer virtual dual enrollment courses to students at Shepherds Hill Academy.
Whether your student wishes to pursue a 2-year, 4-year or vocational academic environment after their time at Shepherds Hill Academy, our principal and team will work individually with your family to create a plan of success for your teen. This could include on-site college visits, recruiter visits, additional research, scholarship applications, and more.
