We all know what a trophy wife is.
Though the term “trophy wife” is not as popular as it once was, the concept of a trophy child may be even more prevalent than that of a trophy wife these days.
Rather than humbly considering our kids as gifts from God for whom we’re to be stewards over, too many of us see our kids as “chips-off-the-old block” — Facebook subjects that tell the cyber world just how great we are by virtue of the offspring we’ve produced.
