The millennial generation seems to be getting the bum wrap in many situations.
However, parents and employers alike should consider the positive side to the millennial generation.
Despite all the negative press about today’s kids, here are a few things that you might find interesting about the millennial generation.
Help Make the World a Better Place
In many instances, they’re more honest than their parent’s generation.
They don’t like hypocrisy—though they often don’t recognize it in themselves.
They actually find value in serving others.
And, they really value their own family.
This should be an encouragement to us. One way of cultivating a relationship with your teen could derive by going to a local park together, sitting on a swing, and discuss ways to help make the world a better place.
Maybe by volunteering together at a food pantry, a homeless shelter or retirement home will help spark their passion.
Whatever the case, it will be time spent with you—a bonding that can’t be had in cyberspace.
