Do you sacrifice for your teen?
When it comes to exercising discipline with your teen, have you ever considered it a sacrifice?
My experience with families has brought me to conclude that many parents fail to properly discipline their children for selfish reasons.
They often fear breaking fellowship with their children. Believe it or not, our children can sense this and play it to their carnal advantage.
We need to understand that any break in fellowship with our kids because of discipline, if it happens at all, is only temporary.
As parents, we need to be willing to sacrifice any short term fellowship with our children, if need be, in order to build a healthy longterm relationship. This will ultimately bring joy and peace to the whole family.
Boundaries and discipline may seem overwhelming at times. Below you will have access to some of our resources on developing boundaries and discipline measures.
