At what point should you physically intervene if your teen loses his temper?
Many folks fuss about parents getting physical with teenagers. Well, I don’t like it either. However, to say that under no conditions is it necessary to get physical with our kids or use force — is absurd!
If conditions dictate, I can assure you the police won’t have any problem getting physical with your child, or you for that matter.
Do you just stand there and call 911 while your wife gets pummeled by your teen?
What if he’s punching holes in the walls or perhaps hurting himself?
If this stuff is happening now, it’s likely Junior was never appropriately dealt with physically in those early years.
Though a last resort, in certain conditions, physical intervention can be the greatest show of love a parent can exercise with their teen.
