I tell parents that I cannot endorse public schools because their kids are not strong enough for public school.
A common argument Christian parents give for enrolling their kids in a public school over homeschooling them is that they feel their Christian kids can make a positive impact in the public school system. They argue that they want to keep the light in the darkness. Little do they know, their child is not strong enough for public school.
Let the Light Shine
In too many cases, that light gets turned to darkness by ruthless and endless peer pressure. What would happen if, through homeschooling, we trained more of our Christian kids to become public school teachers?
Wouldn’t that be a safer way of bringing light to the darkness? Unless your child is a spiritual Ruth, Esther, Daniel or Joseph, public school is a great place for our children to lose their faith.
