Could proper manners be the solution to prevent teenage rebellion?
Based on my experience as the Founder and Executive Director of Shepherds Hill Academy, I would like to suggest that manners could help prevent teenage rebellion.
Manners Help Teens Think of Others
When I was younger, I never understood the importance of good manners. But, now that I work with a team of people in helping at-risk youth, I understand the importance of simple manners that this generation knows little about.

These are terms that were once the norm in America. However, they are words that are barely heard especially in today’s media.
Instilling the importance of simple manners will have a subconscious effect on your kid. When your child has manners, he is recognizing someone other than himself.
Many things in today’s culture are contributing to narcism and entitlement. Teaching our kids manners from an early age will not only make the parenting experience a better one, but, it will help train kids to understand that they are not the center of the universe.
Bring it Back to Boundaries
