Is There a Problem?
How well are Christian parents doing in keeping their child safe, wise and accountable on social media?
Because of the rate of change in technology; such as mobile devices, apps, and social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, etc., our guest would recommend Christian parents are failing.
In fact, many parents may not even realize there is a problem.
You may hear me typically state – “What God has meant to be a tool, the devil can use as a weapon.”
When a civilization starts changing their worldview to postmodernism and begins focusing on self, the very thing that should be used as a tool, i.e., social media, becomes a weapon.
1 Contributing Factor to the Problem
Parents are unaware of the dangers of social media because they we were not born into the Internet era.
Our kids interact differently with the Internet and the World Wide Web than we do.
Walt explains how our kids are considered “digital natives.” They were born into technology and it is their life.
