I’d like to present you with a question.
If you answered yes, you may be shooting yourself in the foot.
Without realizing it, parents that allow their child to be their own boss are creating self-indulged and entitled kids who are losing more respect and trust for their parents every day.
Deep in their spirit, kids really don’t want to be in charge. They want to be controlled because they know they’re out-of-control.
That is why it’s so important for them to have parents who are in control—and in control of them!
It’s actually a relief to them—a sense of security. So, eventually, if you want a teenager you can trust and who can trust you, take charge now—before he reaches those teen years.
