On the Right Path—Academic Statistics for Graduates of Shepherd’s Hill Academy

We put teens with addiction issues and behavioral conditions on the right path for happy, successful, emotionally rewarding lives. For some that means college, for others it means learning a valuable trade, and for others, it means jumping right into a fulfilling career. The true measure of the effectiveness of nature-based therapy, empowering academics, and our residential programs is in where students go next. It is an approach that truly changes lives and families.

Students receive a quality education as a core part of the program at Shepherd’s Hill. Teachers and staff members work with students and help those who are behind to catch up. The academic program challenges teens to achieve and instills in one of them confidence in their academic abilities and an eagerness to continue to achieve.

Success in school instills pride and fuels the confidence and motivation teens need to transition into adulthood. Preparing teens for future success in their careers or pursuits in postsecondary education is a cornerstone of our work.
