March 30, 31, 2012 & April 1, 2012 – Shepherd’s Hill Academy Annual Spring Parent and Sibling Conference on the Campus of SHA. Staff, Parents and Siblings of our students will join together to have a weekend Full of Fun, Food, and Fellowship!
October 7, 8, 9, 2011 – Shepherd’s Hill Academy will host the Annual Fall Parent Conference on the Campus of SHA. Parents will attend training workshops and roast marshmallows around the campfire with their kids. Food, fun and fellowship will be had by all!

Friday, July 22, 2011 Filming of Shepherd’s Hill Academy, Director – Trace Embry for the “Captivated” documentary. “Captivated the Movie” is an eye-opening documentary directed by Colin Gunn on the challenges and snares of the electronic media, and the growing concerns of how it affects our culture.
Thursday, June 30, 2011, 12:30 pm EST – License To Parent with Trace Embry will host Guest, Mark Gregston, founder of Heartlight Ministries (a residential counseling center for teens), and is the host of the popular radio program, Parenting Today’s Teens, heard on over 2,500 radio station. Mark has also authored several books to help parents prepare for and survive the often-turbulent teen years. Topic: “The Lesbian Epidemic in Jr. High”

Monday, March 7, 2011 & Tuesday, March 8, 2011 Trace Embry, Founder and Executive Director of Shepherd’s Hill Ministries leads two workshops at the Christian Camp and Conference Association Section Meeting for the Carolinas and Virginias. The workshops are scheduled for Monday, March 7th at 4pm EST (“Teens and Overexposure to Stimuli”) and Tuesday, March 8th at 9am EST (“The Effects of Music and Media on Today’s Youth Culture”).
