Meet Our Founders
Through 20 years working with difficult and rebellious teenagers, we know what you are going through. Your home has become a nightmare. Your child is angry, running with the wrong crowd, perhaps dabbling in drugs, alcohol or sex, and in trouble at school. You’ve been told your teen has an addiction or disorder. He/she has been in counseling, but that doesn’t seem to be helping. And now you don’t know what to do. Nothing is working, so a new plan needs to be put in place. That’s what our program is all about. The environment at Shepherd’s Hill Academy is intentionally designed to provide a rich, discipleship-focused atmosphere that promotes physical, emotional, and spiritual health and healing to troubled teenagers and their families. License to Parent with Trace Embry equips parents with the tools necessary to produce families that accept and live out the biblical worldview for the purpose of fulfilling the Great Commission. It equips parents with these tools via our weekly 30-minute podcast and a one-minute daily features–both provide insight for today’s culture.
